Choosing the right acting coach can be the difference between success and failure. Below is a quick list of things to think about when makeing your choice. These points are not in order of importance.

Geography

There are a lot of good coaches out there so you should be able to find one local to you.

Price

Don't be fooled into thinking that the more expensive the coach the better they are -it's not always the case.

Experience

Ask them what experience they have as a coach but also as an actor/actress. They should be able to offer you a list of acting credits.

Personality

Talk to them before you make a booking. Some people just don't mix well. Make sure you choose a coach that you can talk to freely.

References or Testimonials

You have every right to ask them to provide you with a reference.

Venue

What facilities are availible at they venue they teach from?
